Formed in 2003 out of St. Louis’ prominent alternative-country soundscape, Ten High perpetuates the gritty lyrics, swift beats and sweet harmonies the genre is known for. All four band members reside in South St. Louis City and County.

Lead singer and guitarist Bob McKee writes the tragically soulful tunes that make up the majority of the band’s repertoire. Lyricist and drummer Matt Queen drives home the country backbeat while bassist Jeff Griswold throws down countrified lines that can’t be ignored. Keyboardist and vocalist Rachel Queen adds counterpoint to McKee’s strong melodies.
